I am a life  long student. I have always been drawn to healing arts and love to learn.

I share my love of yoga and self care because it continues to have such a powerful impact in my own health and life- 

as a partner, mother, teacher, and bodyworker.

Lisa Bateman, Registered Yoga Teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist, has been a practitioner of various approaches to yoga since her introduction to the practice in massage therapy school in 2001. 2 years later she completed her 500 hour massage certification from Cottonwood School of Massage Therapy in Denver, Colorado. 


A change in location brought Lisa to Boise in 2007 where she became an avid proponent of a home practice. Her main studio for the past ten years has been, a 24-hour, online yoga studio, exposing Lisa to hundreds of teachers around the globe and many styles of yoga, creating very eclectic inspiration for her to draw on as a teacher. Some styles include- Kundalini Yoga, Forrest Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Qi Yoga, Power Yoga, and Viniyoga. She went on to receive her 200 hour yoga certification through Qi Studios in Denver, Colorado in the summer of 2011.

Lisa has been teaching at Yoga for Wellness, LLC since 2012. She is a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher and an Integrative Yoga Nidra teaher intraining and is furthering her yoga studies under the direction of Jeanne Dillion, Director of Yoga for Wellness, LLC.

As a licensed massage therapist, Lisa has a strong foundation for teaching the fundamentals of a yoga practice rooted in proper alignment and connection to breath. Lisa’s passion is supporting others in elevating their self-awareness and self-healing through yoga, meditation and bodywork.
